I wrote this song for my mother-in-law when she was battling cancer. It has some generative elements, so I would play it for her while she was resting. She loved to listen to it as she dozed in and out of sleep.

One day, she asked me shyly, “does that song have a name?” I said no, although I had been calling it “For Jeanne” as a file name. She said, “I think it should be called Cathedral.”

So it is.
